The Tour de France 2009 starts in Monaco on the 4th July. We build up to the start of the greatest cycle race in the world with a look at each team.

Points of Interest:
Skil Shimano are an interesting choice - as they are more suited to one day classics. They are more than likely in the race at the expense of Fuji-Servetto, the disgraced team who rode as Saunier Duval last year.
2009 Tour:
Making it´s first ever appearance in the Tour de France, the Skil-Shimano team is a team of Classics riders, who will more than likely be looking to play to their strengths and take a stage win.
One to watch is Theo Eltink, a good climber who has spent most of his career as a domestique to the likes of Denis Menchov and Robert Gesink, he will have the opportunity to ride for himself in this year´s Tour.
